Without the ceremony there wouldn’t be a wedding day.
Ceremonies are a celebration, a rite of passage and an acknowledgement of an occasion.
A wedding is a celebration of a new stage in your relationship as you become husband and wife, wife and wife or husband and husband.
A handfasting is an ancient ceremony pre-dating weddings and binds you together as committed equal partners.
A renewal of vows acknowledges your marriage to date and celebrates your continued future together.
A commitment ceremony is for those who do not want to have a wedding, and it marks your commitment to each other as two equal halves of one committed union.
Each ceremony puts you at the heart of it; ceremonies are about you, for you. Whether you want to invite lots of guests or prefer an intimate ceremony with just a few guests or with just the two of you, it is your choice.
I’m not a Humanist celebrant which means I will include any religious or spiritual aspects to your ceremony including readings or poems if you require this. Norse and Pagan ceremonies can include references to the Gods and Goddesses which wouldn’t be allowed in a Humanist ceremony.
Family, friends and beloved pets can be included within all ceremonies if desired, and ceremonies can be held in any venue of your choice. Ceremony elements can be included within any ceremony and these are a great way to involve children, family and friends.
Whatever kind of ceremony you choose to have, together we can make sure your ceremony is unique, personalised and memorable.
Individual ceremonies for individual couples all across North Yorkshire including York, Whitby, Malton, Scarborough, Guisborough, Pickering and nationwide across the UK.
