Alternative Wedding Entertainment

Are you looking for entertainment at your wedding or ceremony which will not only hold your guests attention; but will differ from the usual disco or singer? Are you having a mixture of different ages at your ceremony, or are you having a child free wedding? These are things to consider when looking for entertainment.
The usual wedding entertainment is either a disco playing a range of music to cater for most people there, a singer delivering power ballads or a band who may only appeal to a few people there. How about having alternative entertainment and really giving your guests a day to remember?

How about booking a Burlesque act? There are so many talented acts out there and some of them are appropriate for people of all ages. With a range of different acts and performers all across the country, the Burlesque revival is perfect for alternative wedding entertainment.

If your ceremony and reception are to be held in the same place, have you thought what your guests will be doing while you are having your photographs taken? Why not keep them entertained with a magician? Ideal for all ages, a magician can also be evening entertainment too and visit your guests tables inbetween courses of your wedding breakfast. I highly recommend The Gentleman Conjurer who is a very talented magician and his show is amazing. http://www.gentlemanconjurer.com/

Circus and fairground themed entertainment are available to hire from various places via the internet. These are fun for everyone and will put a stop to your guests sitting around and not participating. Hiring a photo booth is also fun for your guests of all ages; but adults seem to have more fun than kids! With different props, hats and message boards, it’s another great way for guest interaction in your day.

For great visual and musical entertainment, I highly recommend my friends Vince Ripper and the Rodent Show. Their show will appeal to Rock n Roll, Rockabilly and Goth audiences, or anybody who likes the 1950’s -1960’s garage and Psychobilly music scene, and the music of The Cramps. With a 3D interlude where the audience watch horror clips wearing 3D glasses provided to 50’s B-movies, they are perfect for alternative wedding entertainment. My Mother loves them and she is nearly seventy one!
If you are having an alternative wedding ceremony, why not have alternative entertainment that is guaranteed to keep your guests occupied and the only time you’ll see them on their phones is to capture what they are seeing rather than checking their social media accounts.
